Kimberly Evans, Managing Partner, Block & Leviton LLP
Kimberly Evans is the Managing Partner of Block & Leviton's Delaware office, where she focuses her practice on corporate governance and stockholder litigation. Since joining B&L in 2022, she has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of stockholders in Delaware cases where the firm has served as lead or co-lead counsel. Kim is also an experienced trial lawyer who has tried many complex matters, including a stockholder class and appraisal litigation resulting in a damages award of $148 million, plus interest, following a nine-day trial in the Delaware Court of Chancery.
Prior to joining Block & Leviton, Kim was a director at Grant & Eisenhofer P.A., where she spearheaded the firm's appraisal litigation practice and later developed and led the firm's civil rights practice group, representing clients in a wide range of civil matters primarily involving discrimination.
Kim was named a "Top 500 Leading Financial Lawyer" by Lawdragon in 2023-2026 and currently serves on the Law360 Delaware Advisory Board. She was also named one of the "Elite Women of the Plaintiffs Bar" for 2025 by the National Law Journal.
Kim earned her B.A. from LaSalle University and her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
Tariq Mundiya, Partner, Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP
Tariq Mundiya is a partner and Chair of Willkie's Litigation Department, as well as a member of the firm's Executive Committee. His practice focuses on internal investigations, securities and corporate litigation under the federal and state securities laws, and litigation arising out of mergers and acquisitions and other corporate control transactions. He regularly appears in federal and state courts around the country in corporate and M&A litigation, including concurrent and parallel litigation in jurisdictions outside the United States. He also has an active hedge fund and registered funds practice, regularly representing hedge funds, funds of funds, and mutual funds in proxy contests, litigation, investigations, and SEC proceedings.
Tariq has worked on some of the most high-profile investigations, transactions, and M&A litigation in recent years, representing closed-end funds, private equity sponsors, hedge funds, and special committees of public company boards in significant appellate victories, securities fraud dismissals, shareholder litigation, proxy contests, and landmark Delaware Supreme Court decisions concerning the duties of directors in going-private transactions involving controlling stockholders.
Tariq has been consistently ranked as one of the most formidable litigators and trial lawyers in the nation. He was recognized in the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Global Litigators, 500 Leading Litigators in America, and 500 Global Leaders in Crisis Management guides; named a Litigation Star by Benchmark Litigation (2026); named a leading practitioner in Litigation: Securities by Chambers USA (2014-2026); and named "Litigator of the Week" by The American Lawyer in 2016.
Tariq earned his LL.M. as a Harkness Fellow from the University of Chicago Law School in 1989 and his B.A. in law, first class honors, from the University of Cambridge in 1988. He is admitted to practice in New York.
Fiona McCormack, Vice President Technical Claims, Public Company D&O, Financial Lines, AIG
Fiona McCormack is AIG's Vice President, Technical Claims for Public Company D&O. She joined AIG in February 2025.
Prior to joining AIG, Fiona spent eight years at Argo Pro, where she managed public and private D&O claims, as well as Financial Institutions, Cyber, Media, and Miscellaneous E&O claims, and ultimately served as Head of Private D&O Claims. Before Argo Pro, she handled Financial Institutions claims at Everest and The Hartford.
Earlier in her career, Fiona was an associate at Skarzynski Black LLC, where she served as outside coverage counsel for insurers, primarily in connection with public company D&O and Financial Institutions claims.
Fiona earned her B.A. from Hamilton College and her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. She is admitted to practice in New York.
Kim McLaughlin, Head of D&O Product, AIG
Kim is the Directors & Officers Liability Product Head for AIG’s North American Financial Lines portfolio. She is responsible for guiding the strategic direction of the D&O product in partnership with each business unit by identifying trends and mitigating risk, driving policy innovation and developing underwriting strategies.
Kim joined AIG in 2013, working in the coverage litigation group before moving to the D&O claims department. She subsequently crossed over to underwriting working with and then co-managing the New York Public Management Liability team.
Before joining AIG, Kim practiced at a New York law firm focusing on professional liability litigation.
Kim received her B.S. in Psychology, and History and Public Policy, with a minor in Religious Studies from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA in 2005, and her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2008. Kim is admitted to practice law in New York.
