North America Financial Lines Appointments
AIG has made several appointments to its North America Financial Lines leadership, as part of new operating structure designed to enhance AIG's value to clients and broker partners.
Justin Gilmore has been appointed Head of Financial Institutions, North America. Justin will be responsible for the performance of our Financial Institutions portfolio in North America, which includes P&L responsibility for all product lines within this segment; developing and implementing a plan for profitable growth in this industry class; and defining AIG’s value proposition and underwriting strategies for financial institutions across the region. 
Marek Krowka has been named Chief Underwriting Officer, North America Financial Lines, and will oversee strategic portfolio management and underwriting across the United States, Canada and Bermuda. He also will focus on driving connectivity among underwriting, actuarial and claims; supporting creation of a global limits management network; and training and development for North America Financial Lines underwriters.
Joel Townsend has joined AIG as Global Head of Financial Lines Claims, a newly created role that will establish global claims consistency and best practices. He will collaborate with regional and line of business claims teams to drive alignment among underwriting, actuarial and claims, while providing technical oversight and assessing complex, multiline exposures across the portfolio. In addition, Joel will lead financial lines claims teams in North America.

Michelle Faylo will serve as Head of Professional Liability & Cyber, a new role in AIG North America Financial Lines. She will continue to refine AIG's value proposition and underwriting strategies in Professional Liability and Cyber with a focus on clarity, consistency and profitability. She will collaborate with regional financial lines executives, the chief underwriting officer, actuarial, legal and claims, and others, including the Global Cyber Team and North America General Insurance Distribution Team.
Steven Kammann has been named Head of Product for North America Financial Lines. In this newly created role, he will provide underwriting governance across Financial Lines products in the United States, Canada and Bermuda. He will collaborate with legal, claims and actuarial to drive innovation and new product development.
Carrie Kurzon has been named Head of Employment Practices Liability (EPL) Product. In this newly created roles, Carrie will be responsible for guiding the strategic direction of our EPL product offerings across all of the Financial Lines portfolios in partnership with our Business Heads. 
Jessica Cafarelli has been named Head of First Party Product. In this newly created roles, Jessica will be responsible for guiding the strategic direction of our First Party product offerings across all of the Financial Lines portfolios in partnership with our Business Heads. 
Rick Prince has been named Major Accounts Lead for Professional Liability & Cyber, with responsibility for accounts greater than $1 billion in annual revenue.
Ryan Aussicker has been named Corporate Accounts Lead for Professional Liability & Cyber, with responsibility for accounts below $1 billion in annual revenue.
