Rules and Regulations

How to Enter

Enter the contest online at https://www-107.aig.com/video-raffle. Complete the entry form and correctly enter the required entry code for a chance to win the prize in the Product Appetite Videos Raffle contest (the Contest”). No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. The odds of winning the Prize in this Contest are dependent upon the total number of eligible entry forms received during the Contest Period.

Contest is administered solely by AIG Insurance Company of Canada. AIG Insurance Company of Canada will provide the Raffle prize (collectively, the “Prize Provider”).

1. Contest Period

The Contest begins at 12:01 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time) on August 25, 2020 and closes at 11:59 pm (Eastern Standard Time) on October 2, 2020 (the "Contest Period"). All entries must be received no later than the close of the Contest Period. Any entries received after the Contest Period will be declared invalid and will not be eligible for the Prize draw.

2. Prize Drawing

On October 5, 2020 at approximately 10:00am (Eastern Standard Time), a random draw or random draws (as the case may be) from all entry forms received within the Contest Period will be conducted in Ontario, Canada. Microsoft Excel will be used to make all drawings. [TD1] [VE2]

3. Prize Details

There is one (1) grand prize available to be won in the Contest (the “Grand Prize”), consisting of:

a) One (1) Apple iPad Pro – 11 inch, 256 GB, Wi-Fi

b) The estimated retail value of the Grand Prize is one thousand one hundred and seventy-nine Canadian Dollars ($1179.00). Any difference between the estimated retail value and the actual cost of the Grand Prize will not be awarded.

Grand Prize may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer, separated, sold, exchanged or redeemed for cash, traded, transferred, or rescheduled to dates other than as set forth above.

Certain restrictions shall apply to the Grand Prize, which restrictions shall be determined by Prize Provider in its sole and absolute discretion. The Grand Prize includes only what is specifically described herein and no other allowance will be granted.

Should Grand Prize winner be unable or unwilling to provide his/her mailing address and/or accept the Grand Prize within seven (7) days of receiving notice of winning, the Grand Prize winner will forfeit any right to the Grand Prize and AIG Insurance Company of Canada may select an alternate Grand Prize winner or withdraw the Grand Prize.

4. Grand Prize Not Transferable and No Substitutions

Grand Prize must be accepted as awarded. No cash equivalent or exchange of Grand Prize is permitted. All aspects of the Grand Prize are non-transferable. AIG Insurance Company of Canada reserves the right to make substitutions of the Grand Prize, which in the opinion of AIG Insurance Company of Canada, is of similar kind or value, without prior notice. Any and all expenses, costs and all local, provincial or federal taxes or sales taxes resulting from winning and accepting the Grand Prize are the sole responsibility of the Contest winner.

5. Notification

The entrant(s) whose names are drawn will be contacted by telephone or email using the information noted on the entry form or on current records held by AIG Insurance Company of Canada. AIG Insurance Company of Canada will only contact selected entrants. Attempts will be made to contact the selected entrant during regular business hours for a period of three (3) business days after the date of the Grand Prize draw. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted, fails to respond to any messages left by AIG Insurance Company of Canada within seven (7) days of initial notification, or the Grand Prize is refused, then he/she will forfeit any right to the Grand Prize and AIG Insurance Company of Canada may, in its sole discretion, select an alternate winner or withdraw the Grand Prize.

It is the entrant’s responsibility to provide correct information during Contest entry.

6. Distribution of Grand Prize

Grand Prize will be mailed to the mailing address provided by the Contest winner.

7. Eligibility

The contest is only open to residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who are the age of majority in the province or territory in which they are resident at the time of entry.

8. Entry Forms Property of AIG Insurance Company of Canada

All entry forms are the property of AIG Insurance Company of Canada and will not be returned for any reason whatsoever.

9. Contest Rules & Regulations

By participating in the Contest, the entrants unconditionally agree to be bound by the Contest Rules & Regulations. The entrants further agree to be bound by the decisions of AIG Insurance Company of Canada regarding the Contest Rules & Regulations or in any way relating to this Contest, as may be determined by AIG Insurance Company of Canada in its sole discretion, which will be final and binding in all respects.

10. Privacy / Use of Personal Information

All personal information of the entrants collected through the Contest ("Personal Information"), such as their name, address, and e-mail address is collected for the purposes of administering and promoting this Contest and AIG Insurance Company of Canada. By entering the Contest, each and every entrant consents to and grants AIG Insurance Company of Canada the right to collect, use and disclose their Personal Information for the purpose of administering and promoting the Contest and each entrant explicitly consents to the disclosure of his/her Personal Information to AIG Insurance Company of Canada for the purposes of promoting the Contest.

11. Skill-Testing Question

Before being declared a Contest winner and as a condition to receiving the Grand Prize, the selected entrant must successfully answer without assistance or mechanical aid, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question.

12. Disqualification

AIG Insurance Company of Canada reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any selected entrant who:

(a) does not correctly input the passcode when submitting his/her entry form

(b) cannot be reached by AIG Insurance Company of Canada by telephone or has not responded to telephone messages left within seven (7) business days of the Grand Prize draw;

(d) has not correctly answered the skill-testing questions within the allotted time;

(e) has not signed the Declaration, Release and Waiver Form [TD3] in the form required by AIG Insurance Company of Canada or claimed the Grand Prize as directed by AIG Insurance Company of Canada within ten (10) business days of the Grand Prize draw;

(f) has tampered or attempted to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest;

(g) for any reason whatsoever is unable or does not wish to accept the Grand Prize as awarded;

(h) is not the age of majority in the province in which the Contest is held or otherwise is not eligible by law;

(i) is an employee of AIG Insurance Company of Canada of any of its affiliates; or

(j) is deemed by AIG Insurance Company of Canada, in its sole discretion, to be ineligible, disqualified, or in non- compliance for any reason whatsoever.

In all such cases, the selected entrant will forfeit his/her right to the Grand Prize without compensation and AIG Insurance Company of Canada may, in its sole discretion, select an alternate prizewinner or withdraw the Grand Prize.

13. No Warranty

AIG Insurance Company of Canada and all of its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, sponsors, suppliers or otherwise do not make any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in relation to the Grand Prize, including without limitation quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

14. Release

By entering into this Contest, all entrants (including the winner) hereby agree to release, discharge and hold harmless AIG Insurance Company of Canada, its affiliates, subsidiaries, suppliers, partners and advertising, promotion and service agencies involved in this Contest including all of their respective directors, officers, employees or agents, from any and all loss, harm, liability, claims, demands, damages, causes of action, costs or expense of any kind whatsoever with respect to or arising out of:

(a) the entrant's participation in the Contest;

(b) the entrant's participation in any Contest-related activity;

(c) the entrant's acceptance, use, misuse or any other matter in relation to the Grand Prize, as applicable, and any Grand Prize related activity;

(d) the distribution of the Grand Prize; or

(e) the administration of the Contest.

15. Limitations of Liability

AIG Insurance Company of Canada is not responsible for and will assume no liability for:

(a) incorrect or inaccurate information in the entry forms or in relation to the administration of the Contest whether caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur, including without limitation typographical errors;

(b) telephone, technical, network, online, electronic or computer failures of any kind regardless of the cause in relation to the administration of the Contest;

(c) the failure of AIG Insurance Company of Canada to notify any selected entrant that their name has been drawn for any reason whatsoever;

(d) the failure of AIG Insurance Company of Canada to receive a selected entrant’s response for any reason whatsoever;

(e) theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entry forms;

(f) any error in compiling entry forms;

(g) any error in awarding the Grand Prize;

(h) any condition caused by events beyond the control of AIG Insurance Company of Canada which disrupts or interferes with the Contest; or

(i) any other similar events or circumstances whatsoever.

16. Declaration, Release and Waiver Form

Prior to being awarded the Grand Prize, the selected entrant must sign and return a Declaration, Release and Waiver Form in the form required by AIG Insurance Company of Canada and any other documentation required by the AIG Insurance Company of Canada, which will include without limitation:

(a) confirmation of eligibility for the Contest;

(b) confirmation of compliance with the Contest Rules & Regulations; and

(c) a release of AIG Insurance Company of Canada and its affiliates, and subsidiaries participating in the Contest, and all of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents, from any and all liability for any demand, damage or loss related to, resulting or arising from or in connection with the Grand Prize or the Contest (including, without limitation, participation in and travel for the Grand Prize).

If AIG Insurance Company of Canada does not receive the selected entrant’s Declaration, Release and Waiver Form prior to or concurrently with the awarding of the Grand Prize in accordance with these Contest Rules & Regulations, then such selected entrant forfeit his/her right to the Grand Prize and AIG Insurance Company of Canada may select an alternate Grand Prize winner or withdraw the Grand Prize.

17. Costs and Expenses and Taxes

Grand Prize winner will be responsible for any and all costs and expenses in connection with the Grand Prize, including without limitation any licensing, insurance, transportation, taxes or other charges.

18. Compliance with Laws

This Contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. These Contest Rules & Regulations are subject to change without notice in order to comply with any applicable federal, provincial or municipal laws or regulations.

19. Reservation of Right to Terminate

At any time and without notice, AIG Insurance Company of Canada may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contest in whole or in part or alter the Contest Rules & Regulations.

20. List of Winner(s)
